Many customers complain that the industry is lacking a solution for a workflow and TMS-agnostic customer portal. A customer portal project starts with the customer creating a project uploading their files, and after quoting and acceptance, and a series of automated and/or manual processing steps, ends with the customer receiving the translated document back. We at BeLazy believe that the customer portal is the most important client-facing form of communication, so why not have an individualized, metadata-based, tailor-made customer portal for each important customer, deployed at their premises to keep the data flow under control?
This is where BeLazy is heading – offering all the APIs that you can build an attractive, client-specific user interface on, within hours or days. And while previously you could create opportunities and projects, create them in the TMS, process each step with LLMs, machine translation or human processing steps, it was not possible to export the processed and finalized file from the TMS back into the original format at the end of the process and provide access to it for the customer. Now it is: this new functionality works for memoQ TMS and Phrase TMS in the January release.
