BeLazy’s second report revolves around business management system jobs and linguist assignments. While the previous market opportunities report gives you all the different projects that BeLazy managed to accept and create, and a breakdown of how much work you got out of how much you got offered, the linguist report focuses on delivery.
As time passes from project acceptance to the client’s deadline, there are always waiting times: how much time was spent from project creation to vendor assignment (should be minimized), how much time a job was with the vendor (this is where the value is created, but sometimes it is just waiting), and how much buffer time remained until the deadline (a little extra time is not bad to prepare for emergencies). This is the novelty of BeLazy’s approach – it shows the project management from the vendor’s perspective, based on authentic timestamps rather than human changeable job information.
Another important innovation is the minimum capacity of the vendor: taking into account the current job assignments and the current deadlines, how many words a day does a vendor need to perform for the company if they want to meet each and every deadline. An unrealistic deadline or too many projects bumps up this number, so project managers can always foresee the risks of late delivery. The metric also separates the same-day delivery from later deliveries.
