Summary

Creative Words, a language service provider based in Genoa, Italy, handles a steady stream of small translation jobs—especially from clients like RWS Moravia. To reduce manual workload and improve efficiency, they partnered with BeLazy to automate their workflows. Using BeLazy’s Integromat/Make integration, they now route incoming jobs into a structured Google Sheet rather than manually entering them into their BMS. This automation handles project metadata (volume, assignees, etc.), eliminating the need for manual data entry. As a result, project managers no longer spend time on repetitive tasks, enabling Creative Words to manage 300–400 small projects per month more effectively.

Context & Challenge

Creative Words, headquartered in Genoa, serves major localization clients including RWS Moravia, receiving a continuous flow of small jobs that demand near-real-time handling. To maintain margins on these micro-tasks, Creative Words needed to slash manual effort spent on core operations—downloading assets, updating trackers, and entering data into their BMS. However, they lacked the internal technology resources to build custom automation and their existing translation management system offered limited customization and integration flexibility. These constraints threatened their ability to scale without proportionally increasing project management costs.

Implemented Solutions

BeLazy delivered a turnkey automation solution leveraging its Integromat (now Make) integration, enabling seamless routing of incoming jobs from RWS Moravia into a custom Google Sheet. Each translation request is logged with associated metadata (volume, assignee, etc.), eliminating the need for manual entry. The solution was fully deployed within two weeks. As a result, Creative Words no longer manually populates Excel trackers despite processing 300–400 small translation jobs per month, significantly boosting operational throughput and enabling tighter cost control.

We had no idea where to start! If it weren’t for BeLazy, I wouldn’t have thought that kind of workflow automation was even possible.
